UK Players with Too Many Minutes
I thought I would post my top guys at the University of Kentucky who were allotted a great amount of unwarranted playing time. I am not saying these guys aren’t great athletes, but maybe, they should have been playing at a school that does not have the historical dominance that UK holds. Maybe they should have been playing for teams like Middle Tennesse State, Eastern Kentucky, Samford, or Duke. Tell me what you think.
10. Gimel Martinez - 1767 minutes in four years.
9. Lukasz Orbzut - 856 minutes in 3+ years. (currently playing)
8. Rodrick Rhodes - 2411 minutes in 3 years.
7. Marvin Stone - 1180 minutes in 3 years.
6. Brandon Stockton - 510 minutes in 4 years. (Still too much playing time)
5. Sheray Thomas - 1510 minutes in 3+ years. (currently playing)
4. JP Blevins - 1333 minutes in 4 years.
3. Josh Carrier - 616 minutes in 4 years. (Still too much playing time)
2. Saul Smith - 3106 minutes in 4 years. (Yeah, that’s right Luke, WAY TOO MUCH TIME)
1. Sean Sutton - 1153 minutes in 2 years. (Nepotism, Nepotism, Nepotism)

I can agree with almost everyone but Rodrick Rhodes, he was one of the most athletic all-purpose players that we had at UK. He was like the college version of Anthony Mason of the Knickerbockers. The fact that Sean Sutton and Saul Smith even got to touch the court while a game was in progress without being a waterboy or kid that wipes up the sweat from the foul line shows that the two coaches that put them on the court need to be fired, IMMEDIATELY! When putting together a case for firing Tubby this should be point number one, and really you don’t need a number two. The fact that he was able to get any minutes at UK shows how pitiful of a recruiting job Tubby did and how that started the demise of UK into a mediocre team!
